Okay, so it's an oldie. But boy is it a goodie! This machinima (computer animation using predefined models and sets, usually from a videogame) is a masterpiece of music, motion and emotion from someone the Web only knows as "Percula." He was originally going to create more, but got discouraged when the site he posted it on first, decided it "depicted gameplay" and removed it without warning. Thankfully it's still available on YouTube and great sites like warcraftmovies.com.

For those of you new to the game, this situation has its roots in ingame reality - the woman depicted is Lady Katrana Prestor, who for a long while stood directly to the right of Anduin Wrynn in the Throne Room of Stormwind Keep. We all know her better as Onyxia, Broodmother of the Black Dragonflight. When Onyxia's father Deathwing disappeared from Azeroth, Onyxia fought far and wide to gain control of the dragon clan, battling with her older brother Nefarian (the final boss in Blackwing Lair) and even going so far as to kidnap Prince Anduin... which needless to say got her in big trouble with Varian and the Stormwind Guard. Apparently at one time there was actually a Horde quest to assassinate Lady Katrana during which the possibly-unsuspecting Hordies would find out who they're up against. That quest is no longer in the game and by the time of Wrath of the Lich King, technically Onyxia's dead. But, as they say in comic books, never count a bad guy dead even if you've presented her head to the King five or six times in a row.
